Michelle

By co-incidence new member WilliamRev recently posted
"My grandfather, Captain Stuart Revels, spent much of the great war here, and in particular commanded a company of 1st Battalion Royal Scots Fusiliers in the Battle of Polygon Wood 26/7th Sept 1917, where he commanded one of the two companies of the Royal Scots Fusiliers which took the German front line just over the crest of "Hill 40" Small world and strange that there isn't much reference to 'Hill 60' on forums.

Hi Michelle

On the weekend I gave a talk to the Fremantle history society on the Great War. Ernie's picture took pride of place on the screen when I was talking about the Ypres battle.

Cheers
Andrew
